Default Water ??

Hey guys - I had my Monte up on ramps the past couple days, and also parked on a grade for a bit. I noticed a small, but consistent stream of water running off the frame rails/under car when parked on said grade. Do these cars retain water in places if parked on flat? When I purchased the vehicle, the passenger side front and back carpet was saturated, but chalked that up to a leak somewhere and read it could be the windshield or cowl? Please let me know if you have heard of this, I'm really curious where is collecting water. Tkz!

Could it be from the doors? Check the 2 drain plugs behind the rubber strip on the bottom of the doors for debris

yeah, two drains on bottom of both doors, make sure they are clear. also under the cowl panel is a shot piece of rubber stripping. its a common issue for it to fall away and resulting rain water is no longer channeled away to the drains anymore. it goes into the car, so make sure its there and secured. i glued mine in cause i had the puddle in car issue too. now it dont matter what grade i park on, no more water. there are also two drains on either side of cowl, check those. ands finally make sure your moon roof(if equipped)drains are not obstructed.

yes moon roof drains go down the A and C pillars on both sides. exit at bottom on car also on both sides. the rubbers are known to shrink or dry rot on the glass too. so may not be a clog issue. but could be both. i know the info can be vauge but wanted to give all the info i knew.

Thats what I needed to know, I'm assuming the pillar drains are metal? If so maybe a think coat hangar to unclog?
