Default Water

So i wake this morning after a few big rain last night and there is a lot of water on my pass. floor. any idea where from? is this a common thing for these cars. because there is still plastic from the dealer on the floor and water on top im assuming that it is coming from the top.

it will come through your cabin air filter. once enough water rushes down there it can overflow into it and drain down into your passenger floor. mine is doing it now. maybe just readjust a couple of the seals under the hood where you install the cabin filter. im going to try to readjust mine here soon

Someone put a link on here somewhere that was a good mod to prevent this from happening but I can't remember where/when it was posted but it was a great link and step by step how-to.

I think this is what you are talking about. Just went to dealer and ordered it. Problem that I have is this is not why I had 3 inches of water on the passenger floor (front). My moonroof is leaking, anyway here is the link,
