took the blown monte down the track...
Friday was a local track rental thanks to a mutual friends shop. We had Lebanon Valley to ourselves from early morning until about 3 in the afternoon wen it started to rain.
It was an overcast day in the mid 80's, but VERY humid. Also...they didnt prep the track
Regardless, it was all in the name of fun. I just wanted an idea of what the car could do. Its only my DD, and I dont have a lot into it. Intake, headers, exhaust and a 3.4.
I wanted to run the car EXACTLY the way it is on the street, so I had spare tire, jack, and 3/4 tak of gas.
The only track prep I did was a few gallons of C16 fuel. Here was my best run of the day:
60' -2.181
1/8 -9.111
mph -79.09
1/4 -14.080
mph -98.37
...pulled off a pretty decent 60' for 17" Bridgestone Turanzas
Had it been less humid, I am POSITIVE I could have pulled off a high 13 second pass.
