went to the track yesterday to see what it will run. this time i change my set up little bit than the last previous year. aired up the back tires to 40 psi, front slicks at 16 psi, and launch at 2k rpm, oh and pulled out the driver side head light and stuck out the cone filter through the head light lol. hey it works! all them blazer ss were looking at me wierd, but hey i have better time than most of them...laugh at that sucker haha. my buddy said he only saw one blazer ran a low 12.31 the rest ran 13-14 seconds.

glad i went cuz i actually made 6 passes and have some practice at launching and burning out better than before. normally the track is full on the weekend and you be lucky if you can get 3-4 passes.

was a trial and error but overall i done good at launching, and burn out. sorry for the crappy video. i don't have one of them fancy camera yet. my buddy have all the runs i made and he's going to send me the video link later.

my pb is 12.54 @108 mph 1.83 60'
this is the pass that i had the cone sticking out of the head light btw and it was the the best pass i had all day.

I've been working on paperwork all morning, and took a break to jump back on the MCF...& it was great to see your post. Really EnJoyed & thanks for sharing with the MCF.
Super Times 4- Real....I'm sure that you surprised many @ the track...Were there any other Monte Carlo's running ?
If so, how did they `do ?

thanks space. no 6th gen, but the s' bullitt, hey but i did represent all of us mc owners on the forum and every where else. i did surprise a lot of people i guess. even the track announcer. someone told me the announce was making a carastic remarks about fwd with slick but after i done a burnout he was like "holy sh*t that's a lot of smoke" lol. ran a 12.85 on my first pass he was surprise indeed. after that first pass never said anything bad about my fwd mc with slicks lol.

 

Cool beans! I thought you sold the S'bullit? Hmm, I'd like to see the S'bullit and Greg's car on a race as well. That would be a good one.
