Raced an Escalade

Yeah while racing my monte I have learned my shift points, 2nd gear in '00-05 3.8's suck, I never race outside my power band if i can help it. I have found above 3800 rpm's is ideal.

also 50-110 is a decent range for the monte but i control the 2nd gear shift incase i need to slow quickly for the boys in blue.

*the turbo is my next upgrade for the boost and hopefully i can find a controller to set the boost to only kick in at 2800rpm's or around there.

besides why were you going out with an escalade? that thing is a freakin tank with wheels if the guy ended up being behind you and if you had to jam on your breaks you would be toast. besides police use them as a undercover pull people over vehicle so becarefull the next time. if you go to va ny of ga or luisianna they all use escallades due to seasing of the vehicle in a bust and turn around and use them.
