I know it was all just for fun but some some fun info the 2000's Mustang GT's have over 300hp so it has 100hp more than the 3800 n/a's he definitely didn't know how to drive it or was just playin with ya. Now if you raced my Mustang (1996 GT) that would be a better race... 215hp, 225lb-ft tq.

the 2000s didnt make 300hp. the pi 2v 4.6 made 260hp( at least thats what ford claimed. i think its lower than that.). i believe its the same exact motor as your 96 with different heads, and an intake. the 2v motors need some serious gearing, and other bolt ons to put them in the 13s.(youll hear tons of people say the stick cars are 13 second cars. theyre not). the gts didnt break 300hp till 05 and even then they barely did it.

@Themonteman - You are right I stand corrected I got mixed up with the Cobra. Yes the 2000's GT have the same 4.6 as me just different heads.. Which reminds me, I gotta do that... Those 4.6's didn't seem to have much power but they sure as hell feel like they do and they sound amazing. I've never driven a car with a transmission that shifted so smooth like it does in my car.

I'm pretty sure mine was around there somewhere, only mods on it were, a Volant CAI, ported eaton with stripped rotors, oil separator, full Borla exhaust, and some shorty headers
