First Night At The Drag Strip Racing
When I raced it, It wasn't shifting real good, I will try shifting manually and putting on the stock wheels on some time, that will be intresting seeing how much difference is in the tires, Remember that was my first night with a drag strip tree, I am sure my reaction time will get better to, just need some more practice too. Thanks for all the tips. Has anybody else taken their 3.9 monte out and have a time for it? or does anybody know what kind of time a stock 3.9 monte time is?
2.4/2.5 60ft times is pretty sluggish. I'd bet that those 20's are really hurtin ya off the line. I can turn 2.30's all night long on bald tires with my N/A 3800, so you should be at least there, if not better. I bet it would pick up quite a bit with your stockers on it.
I picked up almost a full tenth shifting my car manually, and going all the way to the rev limiter. Your car will definately be faster with a few small changes. Let us know when you go back and pull off some solid 15's.

It was a good race until his supercharger really kicked in at the middle of the race, he got me by a car or car and half. He ran 15.430 in the quarter mile at 97mph
great races though... glad you had fun.. was it your first time ever? Must have been kinda nerve racking.. I know i was nervous my first time..
Knock that 60 foot off to a 2 flat, you'll see low 15's =)
