i meant 20psi ineach front tire i didnt touch the back ones.i beat him by quite abit mabe 3 on the 2nd and 3rd race but i just let air out i just wanted traction and i keep them at 30 all the time anyways so i wouldnt think 2 psi would be much but i didnt spin my tires at all and i didnt really think about over inflating back tires

you should easily take him endo story. if i can take the new mustag with 300 horse i think ou could take that.
it was awesome he didnt know that they put a 5.3 in the monte. he thought i was runnin the sc v6. it was a buddy of myne and when i bought the car he didnt know. i have dark tinted windows and i was riding next to him. he had no idea it was me. i gave him a couple little engine revs and he did back. and we were off. we went to bout 70. then got a redlight. i rolled down my window and his jaw dropped. it was awesome.

its a great feeling to take down a mustang. all the owners seem kinda cocky like their cars tthe fastest.

My old car was able to take any V-6 mustang. I know the Monte Carlos are about as fast as my old Dodge. I would say it would be close but not enought to put money on it.

i'm not familiar with the v6 mustang's because i dont think any of them would even try it with my car, but i blew a 5 speed mustang v8out of the water with my magnum like it wasn't even close, and i had my 22's on my car still....so i dont think there'd be any issue's but i wouldn't put $200 on the line, just tell him you only do it for fun

Yea bro, it's a drivers race, but it is a mustang....just race him b/c the look on his face (like all other stang drivers)after u whoop him is way sweeter then the money laid down.Lol. I have raced a new v6 pony package and he had me but i have the 3.5 but i'd much rather lose in the monte then win driving a ford rustang

Research the quarter mile time for a stock V6 new mustang, Go to the mustang forum and see what times people have ran.

I have a 3.9 liter with cai and dual flowmaster and I ran a 15.9 seconds race last time, don't know how I will do in the cooler temp, I am gonna try to go this friday to race again.

My time should drop a little in nice 70 degree weather.

I think your car may be around 16.5 seconds in the quarter mile, It may be a close race or if the v6 stang runs a low 16 or lower in the quarter mile, I think the stang will win, do the research first before putting money on it, if it was 50 bucks be a fun bet, but 200 is a little more serious bet, If you can go to a drag strip and race and get some pratice in and see what your time is too.

I will research this some more at home some time soon in the evening

Well, I own a 2005 3.8 non-SC, but I have driven a 2006 3.5 LT as a rental. Even though the engine is rated higher HP than my 3.8, i still feel like the 3.8 could beat it. But, I think it comes down to transmission programming and gearing. When I gunned the 3.5, there was no "get-up." It scared me because I was trying to cross the street and the traffic was coming up on me and the car felt like it didn't want to go anywhere. When I hit the gas in my 3.8, it MOVES!! I have cleaned up MANY v6 rustangs in it. I am not sure how the 3.5 would fare.

So, I don't know, man. I know for sure I would not bet that money on it, though. MAYBE a 20, but not more. The fact that he wants to put money on it could mean 2 things.

1: He is confident in his setup and has something sleeping under that hood.

2: Placing money (and it being as steep as $200) might be a scare tactic to discourage you from racing him because he does not want to get beat.

Hard to tell. But I still would not bet.
