Greg: You hit the nail on the head - the car will be completely assembled and ready to drive but that will only be a step toward the finish. Before it is even driven or backed out of the shop - it will come completely apart - painted, powder coated etc. and the reassembled - a lot of work to do yet. But we are closer than we have been a in long time. SAM

OMG, bud, that is a waaaay serious top of the line, take it to the limit scenario. You always build it right with whatever I have seen you do. I can't imagine building the car twice, every nut and bolt removed. I'm bending my mind trying to imagine what efforts the interior finish will consume. Guess the exteriors new color scheme etc. will be kept secret till the big reveal. Bet your engineer friends & associates at GM will struggle to contain their giddiness while marveling over your unmatched efforts at building the ultimate Monte Carlo SS. Wonder if they will insist you bring it to their test track for some proper performance assessments? Ha will be a mess trying to sort out who will be your 1st passenger. Happy for you, the proverbial eating an elephant, one bite at a time one off Monte build. Speaking of getting closer, are you still trying to get your flood damaged home remodel done or closer to its completion?

Default Zippy my greatest fan

Greg. It has been a long road but as you can see we have made progress. Matt is a man that is gifted, talented and forward thinking when comes to projects like my car. The work he does is exactly the work he would on his own car if he was building one for himself. My house is a never ending project about half way done. And
on that note i will leave you with this. — I got Covid and feel awful. So we can catch up later.

You just suck it up like the good soldier you are Sam! COVID can be trying, I have had it like 3 times, went to work every day since I work by myself. Natural immunity knocks it out after a couple days after the 1st bout. So with that "Welcome to the Natural Immunity CLUB", after this you are good to go amigo. Best of luck fighting this fight, you will persevere. God Bless you brother!

I am not trying to be rude or nothing but I read in this thread way back that a comment form Barb indicating a 3 year build.
We are approaching 7 years.
The desire to have it an drive it for me would be like an engagement to the same girl with no extras for that long.
What is the planned completion date? Once again I am sorry for the comments!
