OK, so I found out this week that my struts are still good and don't have to be replaced right now, and I don't need any work on my front brakes now either, which means I can move the bottom grille swap up on my list of things I want done on the Monte.

Has anybody here actually replaced their LT or LS grille with the SS bottom grille? Is it an exact fit? What is involved in removing the bumper cover? Do the foglights stay in place when you take the bumper cover off, or are they attached it?

I don't think anyone else on this site has done the grill swap. You're the guinea pig. Good luck!

Default total replicas?

so like most all LT/LTZ owners we all would like the SS look. everyone is talking about the grille replacement which seams very feasible but, what is involved in a total replica? side skirts, front bumper, rear bumper? how different are they, how much are they $$$, where are they readily available? Who has pics? Are Their any replica seventh gens out their?

Hm... It's possible, depending on how much money you have.

RockAuto Auto Parts

They should have just about everything.

The front bumper cover for all models of 2006 Monte Carlos are all the same. P/N 89025785/CCC76889

The inserts are the only thing that change on the front of the vehicle. I am looking into the side skirts now.
