i dont see why it wouldnt work, the grilles look the same. i changed the grille on my lt to an lt one from an impala (accident) and it was super simple, just the two top clips then it pops out. took maybe ten minutes.

It should fit with no problem. Just make sure that you retain the rubber tips on the top grille. They don't come on the new parts. Good luck!

I was thinking of doing the same thing on my 3LT too. I like the SS grille better than the one on the LT. I'm going to ask about it when I go to local body shops to get estimates about paint work on my Monte.
Let us know if you're able to do it easily on your car.

It is very easy. You shouldn't have to pay a body shop to do it. Just unclip the old one and clip in the new SS style. The shape is the same. Just the cross hatching style is different.

I did this with the top grill so far, not the lower grill... I can tell you the fittment for the top grill is EXACT, and it was simple i literally popped out the LT grill and popped in the SS grill. But if you want it done right withought having to hassle with anything it would be a better idea to take the front bumper cover off. For the lower Grille, like i said i havnt done this one yet but to me it looks like you MUST remove the front bumper cover just to get to this one.

But yeah its simple enough and im sure someone like MillerMonteSS would know how to take the front bumper cover off.

Best of luck!!!

I just assumed that the bumper was going to be taken off for the swap. I didn't even know it was possible to do with it on the car.

LOL yeah i just popped the stock grill off then popped in the new one, i seriously dont recomend doing what i said only because you risk breaking the fittings... i was in a rush and we all know bad things happen when you rush, i just got lucky!!
