Default 7th Gen SS Grille...

I have an 06 LT and I've always liked the honey comb grille for the 7th gen SS. It's a subtle change I'd like to make. I'm assuming both the lower and upper would fit straight into my LT as is. Are any of you aware of this being a problem at all?

Also, are you aware of any decent places to pick up a set for a decent price? I'd even go with used that's in good shape. I haven't had any luck with ebay as of late.

just a suggestion, but if i was you i would just find an aftermarket grill. i have seen nice ones on ebay for the 7th gens for around $100, which is what you would probably pay for the OEM SS grill anyways. if you search 06-07 monte carlo on ebay, you will find a nice stainless steel grill (upper and lower) for i think $78. it is by E&G Classics i think the company is called. i have seen a few members on here with it and it looks great. it will be my next cosmetic upgrade for sure, but first i would like to get my exhaust done.

Honestly, You're probably stuck with going through a dealer. You might be able to find the part on line. IDK though.

Strangely enough, I actually found one on eBay posted the next day for $70 and I won it. I still need the lower piece but IL requires the front plate and it pretty much blocks it from view. So until then...

Drew, thanks for the suggestion but all that chrome is just not my style. However, they do look good on the pics I've seen.

echoingvoid, whatever works for you bud. everyone has their own style and i respect that. that's what is great about customizing your own ride, you can make it your own in many different ways. the SS grill will be a great touch to your monte.

Yeah, I have the 3.9 but I haven't done any kind of performance mods yet. Do you have anything in mind?
