not so much the money but the work to do it will be a lot and it's in a bad spot so you would probably end up with a crack again in the future.

It wont crack again once you fix it, but the stuff to glue it back together is like $50 & u can fix the scratches easy but with the crack its not worth it

With the size of the bumper and with them being so flexible, they move a lot. With that being said, if you fix it, it will be the weak spot of the bumper, meaning it would break before anything else in most cases and it would break worse the second time. So you'd be right back to where you came from.

I would just search for a new bumper and get it painted.

No it wont, most of the time itll break in other spots ive glued several bumpers back together & had them be in accidents after & itll still be intact, when u patch a bumper it becomes thicker in that area

i vote new bumper! have you checked craigslist? maybe theres a totalled monte on there

I really don't mind doing the work to fix the scratches and then gluing the bumper. That would be a faster and cheaper solution than just getting a new one, I think. I will search craigslist too.
