Default backed into a pole at BK

I was just at Burger King and was told to drive to the 2nd window then they told me to go to the 1st window so I backed up and hit a yellow pole. Now my rear bumper, driverside quarter panel, and driverside taillight have yellow paint on them. Fortunately enough I was planning on replacing the bumper anyways and thats where most of the damage was done. I have a few small spots of yellow paint on the taillight and quarter panel. Any tips or advice for a low cost way to remove the yellow paint from those 2 areas?

Paint thinner (Not on the plastic bumper) Just the sheet metal... liquid rubbing compound can be used on the plastic bumper.... Depending on how large an area it is... along with a buffing wheel if its a large area... other wise out it on a micro fiber towel and rub it with light to medium pressure... Then just rewax that area and you should be fine.

Paint thinner no, it will scuff the plastic and make it look 10 times worse. Rubbing compound and a spin wheel brush should do. Or just scratch it off with your fingernail

Yu are correct sir... I meant to use the paint thinner on the sheet metal of the body and not the plastic bumper...

I know someone that helped a co-worked with the same paint problem remove it with WD-40, a soft/clean rag and a about 2-5 minutes of work rubbing it out by hand. Once done, wash the car, apply a fresh coat of wax.

I found black paint on the top of my passenger side mirror one morning. That afternoon at lunch I took a little rubbing compound of a clean shop rag and whipped it down, then rubbed, with just a little pressure, it came right off.
I think If it is just scuffed and not scratched the rubbing compound will do the job!
