annnnd now i need a new drivers side tail-light and rear bumper cover. thank god i didnt damage the trunk lid or quarter panel.

but on to the real topic of this thread...LED tail lights. im thinking of replacing my stockers with them cuz they are the same price. \

does any one here have them? particualy with a black car so i can get an idea of how they will look?

and if you have them how do you like them?

That sux about your Monte being hurt. But you have to remember that hydrants are sneaky little buggers. They will appear out of no where.

As far as the LEDs, I'd get them. They look great and really light up the rear.

i did no damage to the hydrant lol

and im still not sure about the LED tails...i just dont really like the way they look during the day, when they're not lit up...i need to think about this one

i will try to get a pic tomorrow to show you guys the damage...i never realized how bad rear visibility is in these cars...i was backing up looking out the rear window, i could not see the thing at all...nothing, not even the top of it. so when i hit something, i was like WHAT THE **** WAS THAT? i got out looked and said to myself "was that there this morning" lol i felt like an idiot

You turn your body to reverse? I'm a mirror guy.

I could never get comfortable turning my whole body to reverse. For me I can see everything I need with my mirrors.

I also learned to drive in my dad's S-10, and he has a cap on the truck bed, so mirrors were your only option...

Sorry to hear about your accident. I was at a buddy's place and his dad has a number of huge rocks bordering his driveway. I've been there a million times and just went too far in reverse. I scraped up my rear bumper cover pretty good. No cracks luckily! But this was just yesterday, so maybe its just one of those days for us Monte drivers.
