The 97 has a few odd differences when it comes to modding, so just keep your eye out when you do

 

Congrats! Sounds like a good deal my DD is an 01 GP GT now and for an 11 year old car its EXTREMLY smooth ir rides like my 05 Monte (less power of course because its not supercharged lol) I rode with the radio off one day and heard no creaks squeaks or rattles I was super impressed.

 

One issue as I understand is an oddball PCM. Plus if you do a CAI on it, you need to get a newer coolant overflow bottle.

But they are good cars. The ONLY problem I've seen on the Grand Prixs more then any other W-Bod is the rocker panels rot out horribly. Watch out for that.

Otherwise, sounds like a decent deal!!!

Sounds cool. We have a 94 (old body style). I is a great car. We might buy another one soon for my wife since my my daughter took over the other one.

 

Hopeing I will have this by the end of the week, I need to get together with her and work out all the fine details, but excited, a lot going on this week, finially getting a garage at the apt, gatta sell the Saturd, got parts to send out that I have sold, and get this and will some luck will be picking up some parts for the Monte in the next few days !


As far as modding goes I probably won't be doing much of anything to it

 

who ever is partin out the GP does it have roof rails by any long shot chance haha
