Another new member joining the ranks
Hey all. I own a 2001 Monte SS that I bought in September of 2008. I joined up here to get some modification pointers and possibly find some parts, maybe car shows and what have you. I'll probably lurk around and participate in conversation too, though I am more active at gearsgarage.com.

The only pictures I have right now are some cell phone pics, but once the weather is nice I'll take some decent photos. I'm 21 years old and a senior at the University of Iowa. I bought the Monte last September and it is the third car I have owned, behind an Eagle Talon TSi-AWD and Mercury Topaz. The Talon was fully kitted out with a JDM motor and trans swap I did in my back yard, intake, turbo, injectors and fuel pump, and I traded that for the Monte which currently only has exhaust tips but I'm slowly working on changing a few things, probably with a CAI set up next.

How many miles on your Monte Carlo ?
Search the MCF and you will find several modification for
your Monte Carlo.
Did you ever race your Eagle Talon TSi AWD ?
They are reallyquick 4-bang`inmachines!

Welcome Mesarius nice to have you join us here at MCF..... I have a Monty just like yours mine started stock as well, its a really fun car to drive, the car stock has a decent amount of power but doing a couple of mods to these cars will really wake them up.. so keep up posted on ur mods and ideas and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
