Why don't we care about speeders?

Here in central Florida you see a cop every time you turn around. If it isn't a FHP state trooper, it a county sheriff, if not them then it's a city cop, we also see the FDOT (Florida Dept of Transportation) and also fish and wild life out patrolling and writing tickets. I've seen both of the last two running radar guns. It's pathetic.
My biggest tickets were for having a Vermont plate on the front of my car in Florida where we don't run front plates. Running another state plate as a vanity plate is illegal. My other big tickets here I got when Susan was driving my car. One for a red light camera and the other for a photo blocking cover on my plate.
Speeding tickets I usually get out of. I was once pulled over for doing 90 in a 55 on World Drive and 192 by Disney. This happened shortly after the passing of Adam Petty. I had a memorial to him in the back window of my Dodge Diplomat. The officer asked me about that and I explained it to him. He asked why I was going so fast. I told him I was late to work. He also clocked me at that speed in a curve. I told him my Dippy handled like it was on rails and that it why the Diplomat was the favorite of police departments for years. He said my car must handle better than his Crown Vic. He then Told me that Daytona International Speedwsy was 70 miles to the east and that I needed to slow down. He was a NASCAR fan and told me to have a nice day. No ticket.

I mostly drive 3-5 over the limit, but every now and then coming home from work at 12am in the morning I open her up and play a bit ! Driving to San Atonio last week I took the 130 Toll Road and they finally posted the new 80 Limit Signs, Felt pretty good having people get out the Monte's way !!!
