I used to down hill ski too at the lame man made hills in Southern WI but gave it up because it's way to expensive for a lift ticket. I like X-country skiing cause I have tons of trails near my house, it's great exercise and it's free (besides buying the equipment which really doesn't run too much).

Gave it up when I first left Michigan back in 76 to go into the Navy- Not much skiing in South Carolina where I was stationed, after that just sort of forgot about it. Believe I have been out of it for too long to start again


X-country sounds like fun though
