Default Storage Compartment

I have yet another question. A friend of mine jumped from my seat to the passenger seat and broke the middle storage compartment. (he's like 6' 6" 250lbs) I've been searching all day and cannot find a new one. I prefer not to go to the junk yard but if that's me best bet, please let me know. I have an 05 LT 3.8L V6

what broke the clip or the hinge. idk what else could break. id say check morads parts company. they're a clean junkyard specializing in fwd late model vehicals. if they dont have one they might be ablo to find one.

a pic would help in this situation

99% sure he broke the plastic bottom to the whole center console, its very easy to do. Open the lid and take out all the stuff, you will see cracks at the bottom. Super glue is fine, if not your gonna need this.

I broke mine doing something (but I won't say what) in my '01 SS LE. I took it out and braced it with some brass flat stock. Aluminum or steel would work also, but I had plenty of the brass stock. I'd try to repair it. Use a hot glue gun if you need to, also.
