What I do;

I plan next year's car shows and mark them on my calendar.

Plan any mods/fixes that need to be made on the Deuce for next spring and save up for them.

Do some projects that need to be done around the inside of the house.

Rack up my level on Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

Not too much into football so don't really watch the games on TV.

Hang out here and bug you guys.

So what does everyone else do?
I wish my monte could be garaged :/ iv done my best and she hasn't taken much beeting from me but being a DD before I got her took its tole. No major damage just some wear on the underside and gfx. She's in great condition from the fenders up for a DD. Even the engine still looks good. Kind of off the subject but I'm jealous of you guys who can afford to give your montes that kind of love.

David make no mistake about it I am truly thankful that I can store the Deuce in winter. I have spent most of my young adult life without a garage. I have only had a garage since 12 years ago it has become my Man cave in the warmer months (it's not heated....yet)

Having a garage myself for the last 12 yrs is where my Monte would be normally... Since having met and married lizzy (10 yrs on oct,10th)
My Monte was in the garage...But was driven winter and summer... However, since Lizzy got her new sierra .... The Monte was kept outdoors,
Since becoming an active member on the forum.... Meeting my now MCF buds and doing Car Shows again, Meet and Greets has sparked my interest again in keeping the Monte looking the best I can... Now having gone to the Monte Nats... and the enthusiasm shown to keep our Monte's in the Public eye.... has given me enuff reason to finally store the Monte for the first time in its life after 14 yrs of being driven winters and summers combined... So, the new plan is, The sierra will be kept covered outdoors on the back patio as much as possible shielding it from the elements. The Monte... Is going into the garage as your aware of...
I plan on doing some up keep prep work for the spring during the winter.
Not sure what mods if anything... But there is the possibility of "Turbo" Charging it... If that Pans out.... still working out the kinks/details...
Thus leaving the Silverado for lizzy to drive to and from work during the cold, snowy, icy conditions...since it is a 4 wheel drive vehicle...I feel much safer with her driving it to and from work!

So, I do have the Motivation now to try to keep it at its level best with out throwing myself under the bus with it financially... Now with Matt trying to put together a Michigan Based Car Club.... Is even more incentive to add something special to it.... So, we will see what the winter months bring....

I guess that's the "problem" with getting this car so early in life. Its not feesable to store it. I give her all the love I can and I plan on keeping her in the best possible condition. Maybe some time down the road I can do a full restore and afford garaging. Red has many many potential daily driver miles ahead of her.

I wish I could store My monte as well. For one it is my DD and secondly, my moms Challenger gets garage priority lol. Luckily for me though I live down here in NC, so we don't really see snow very often and when it does it's normally just a little dusting. And they also don't use "salt" down here. They still call it salt, but it's not as harsh as the stuff they use up north.

It's not much different for me since I don't really drive the Monte anymore. It gets stored in my Dad's garage and visit it once a week. The only thing I'll miss is to be able to see my Monte anytime I want to - I'll just have to stare at the desktop pic on my computers. Other than that life as usual - work chores etc... And if we ever get enought snow I'll go X-Country skiing on the weekends.

Sounds a bit like me in that I browse pictures of the Deuce, but I do get to look out into the garage and dream of summer.

I may start a scrap book of the Deuce this winter from the time I took her home until now. Wifey does this as a hobby so will get help from her on this if I do it.

I used to go down-hill skiing as a teenager, but not any more.
