Also, compound gets out the big scratches and swirls, but it makes smaller ones.

You have to follow compound up with a polish, which is a lot finer and can help remove the smaller swirls and scratches.

I use a spray wax after I wash the car - after I rinse the car off I spray on the wax and then dry the car with some microfiber drying towels. It prolongs the life of the original wax application.

that stuff is nothing but turtle cr@p!
If you want to do it right, go with the good stuff. Also, use multiple clean microfibers. ( & you can never have enough of them!) I'll go through a good 20 towels per cleanup..
