Stupid things customers say...

Not so much what people say, but regarding what I've seen people DO at gas stations...
I ALWAYS see people get back into their car during refueling or leave the pump unattended and go inside while it's pumping. I also saw someone actually smoking while refueling for the first time a while ago, and he was on the opposite side of the same pump I was using. Scary? Yeah, but seriously, the warning signs are there for a reason. Having a possible fire or explosion is something that should NOT be taken lightly. It's amazing how many people just completely disregard the warnings and don't care, or are just clueless and don't even know.
When I could possibly be in harms way because of someone else's dumba** actions, I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT!

Every casino gets customers that play the slots or video poker, spends more money than they should've, then complains to the staff. They complain that they spent "X" amount of dollars, and didn't hit win big. Then they demand their money back or they're gonna call the gaming commission.
Uh... go ahead. It's called gambling. Look the word up in the dictionary. Good luck with your phone call to the gaming commission.
I mean really. Do people do that in stores and lottery shops? If they don't win the Power Ball lottery, do they demand their money back or they'll call the governor's office?
Another one for you guys...
I had a customer actually ask me if the sign he just read was worded in canadian or american. I wanted to say it was in swahili or german. But figured why confuse him further. I don't know if he was canadian or american. Doesn't matter. He could've been either really.
But my all time favorite was the guy who thought Detroit, MI and Windsor, Ontario were in different time zones.

When I worked at U-Haul, I actually had people ask if we rented trucks. I also picked up the phone, "Thank You for calling U-Haul, How can I help you?" "Hi, is this U-Haul?"
Or, one of my favorites:
"What time do you guys close?"
"We're open 24 hours."
"The whole store?"
"No, aisle's 1-8 close at 10."

I used to work at Walgreens and went into Menards for some bolts. It was for my store, so I was on company time and in uniform. It says Walgreens on it, has my nametag with the Walgreens logo on it, and some guy came up to me and asked where he could find the fertilizer. I said, "How the hell should I know?" He looked pretty confused.

Had that happen too when I went to Walmart after work in my U-Haul uni. Some guy started asking me if trucks were available for a certain day and what the price would be. He seemed pretty upset when I gave him the store hours and told him to call during those times. Told me he was going to tell my manager.
