Stupid things customers say...

A friend of mine that has worked counter for over 25 years is just the opposite when it comes to the old 350 engines. When a customer comes in and tells him to 'look up anything' because they're all the same he brings out several choices and tells them 'take your pick, they're all the same.' For some reason the customer always seems to be able to come up with a year and model after that. Sell someone a short shaft water pump when they need a long shaft, a timing cover gasket set with the wrong crank seal, the wrong intake gasket set, etc. and then the customer will be talking about the 'stupid' things the counterperson did. Contrary to popular belief, all 350 engines are not the same, even if they are the same CID.

When I was taking programing classes, my professor always reminded us that the user is dumb and to code accordingly

I work at a small kind of truck stop gas station place and I always get people that can't find the bathroom even with the sign that is in plain sight. I also get people that do irritating stuff instead of saying stupid stuff. Just like when a trucker will come in and use our toilet, only to clog it for me to find it later

I like $2.00 bills, I always ask for them at the bank if I can get them. They are great for tips, valets - paperboy whatever. Worst question ever when buying something when I use a $2.00 bill is "we don't take Canadian money" - now that is not to bright with old Jefferson on the face and 'United States of America' all over the bill.

Seriously, that is funny. Canada hasn't had a $2 bill since the mid 90's. And got rid of the $1 bill in the mid 80's.

I work at a body shop and we have people come in allllll the time with stupid questions... Like, Is this a body shop?....It's called Hansen Collision.. What do you think?
Or, I have a scratch on my car, can you fix it? Nope, Sorry. We don't fix scratches..Seriously?
Or with our loaner cars. They have to be full when you bring them back and they will say, well how much gas do they have in them now?? I'm not putting more gas in then I got.. Or do I get a gas card with this loaner car?? FOR REAL?? C'mon people, it's a loaner car in place of your car that's in the shop, not a free car with free gas.
SO many more where I work.. STUPID estimates, repairs, bleh. Annoying. lol
