Stupid things customers say...
For anyone who works in retail or for some with any business you can understand what stupidity comes out of the general public.
I work in a auto parts store & some of the STUPIDEST THINGS come out of peoples mouths..
Today I got a lovely question as I was going on break someone said "Do you guys sell brake rotors here?" uhhhhh no! we sell groceries you dumbass!
I've actually gotten "do you sell autoparts here?" & my favorite, "Do you sell Carquest batteries?" all serious and stuff. Accidentally laughed out loud too.
Anyone got any?

That is one of the top best questions :P
What is even stupider is when I go into places like dollar tree, walgreens, riteaid, I get mistaken for their employees when clearly my clothes are different & say AUTOZONE all over the f-in place.

Thankfully the worst i get now since i'm back on days and not a cashier is, do you know where ____ is or do you have more of ____. Thankfully having worked night crew for 11 months i know where everything is in the whole store. So i have no problem answering that.

I have a thousand of them. This is one of my favorites...
I used to sell appliances and had an old guy call up one day and complain about his freezer shelf being crooked. I told him that all he had to do is take it out and put it back in straight. He kept insisting that someone come out to his house to put the shelf in straight. I kept telling him we couldn't because the company was not insured for employees to go out to customer's homes other than in the company delivery truck.
He finally started yelling and told me that he was going to bring the fridge in and shove it up my a$$. I just laughed hysterically and said "good luck". and then promptly hung up on him for using profanity.
Gotta love dealing with the public.

I have more of an issue with the idiots behind the counter. If I come in asking for a specific spark plug number, or asking for a general part for a flange gasket, please, do not ask me what vehicle it is going in.

idiots behind the counter or register can sometimes be just as bad, especially when in my own store. What annoys me the most is its a job I've done and it can be done quickly which everyone will appreciate, no one likes a slow cashier.
