Very cool Duane and I am super jealous! But I don't let others wash the BudChev because of the decals - it can be tricky. I would let someone wash it to get it some laps there tho

I'd imagine you could pay and just not have the car washed and run laps. I don't think they'd have a problem with taking money only to save some time not having to wash the car, save a little soap and energy too. My Torino was dirty and needed a bath for two cruise in's this weekend anywho.

Hey... if I had found out sooner, maybe you could have gotten an extra day or so off work and we could have rode out there together... I'm sure the forum would have loved to see our cars on a track together!

WOW!! Duane. Now thats beats all. Not sure if i said this on here before. But I bought a 68 Torino back in 1968 brand new off the lot. 289 3 bbl buckets Red with black interior. Wasn't fast at all. But it was our 1st new car. We were only married 4yrs at the time. I seen the Talldega's run on the Nascar tracks. I didn't like them. But fell in love with the Torino's. That had to be a BIG Thrill to be able to do that. I've been on the Daytona track a couple of time. And while living in Michigan at the time. I got to go on there also. But not in the Torino. On a tour. I lived an 45 mins away from MIS at the time. Your One lucky guy to get to do that. Rick

Thanks a lot guys. Hopefully NASCAR will advertise this thing for all of us to know more about ti next year. They could easily slip something for it into some of these long green runs, yet I've heard nothing.
Rick, you told me a little bit about the cars. Seems like you had another one set up for drag racing, right?

Yup Sure did. The fastback was totaled 2yrs after we bought. Then found another one. That one had a Big Block in it. 4 spd That was a fun car. But the red one still looked better. As you know. I LOVE Red
