Track Smack kicks off the weekend with this debate: Which upcoming Chase track is the bigger wild card, Martinsville or Talladega? Also among the topics is finding a "dictator" as crew chief for Junior, and who should be in the 2011 Hall of Fame class.

I loved that 'Dega finish - that sure is a wild picture of Carl! I'm more excited for that race then Martinsville. Talladega is probably Junior's best shot at a win this year.
I don't think Martin likes Martinsville at all. He actually didn't race there for the last 2 years during his semi-retirement (when he ran a partial schedule he skipped all Martinsville races). I've been to Martinsville twice (back when he drove for Roush) and he finished crappy both times. None-the-less, when I am ready to make my picks this weekend you can be safely assured I'm picking Martin to win.

It was good to see Jimmie Johnson qualify a little lower, but I wouldn't hold my breath on a bad finish for him here in Martinsville. He's practically unbeatable here, but I'm hoping he gets caught up in something. The thing with Martinville is that it is such a slow track that the cars are tough to take out at all. Jimmie will be there at the end. I remain confident in Martin, but Jimmie must fail. Newman starting on the pole should be interesting. Watch how many cars he batters as he drops back - this is a great track for his shenanigans. Peblo will likely have a fun time pushing people around today, but I don't think his car will hold up to his abuse. Hamlin is usually good here to. Strong Hendrick day
