Default Torino runs Bristol (with JuniorCar Brent!)

I added another track to the Torinos NASCAR resume and met our fellow member and my fellow Fantasy NASCAR player, Brent!

For video lovers, here are the videos...

So I ran some of the afternoon and night to a motel in Wythesville, VA and drove the rest of the way in the morning.

I picked up Brent at about 7:30 trackside. We then went to the official fast food breakfast restaurant of the MCF NASCAR fantasy league, Bojangles!

And then it was off to Bristol.....

They lined us up outside the track (and did not give good directions for doing that) and they didn't get us in and out very fast (each group was in teh track for about an hour). But it was okya. Brent, my family, and I all had some good time to bond with each other.

My mom was sitting in the back seat and took these photos over my shoulder. Brent was riding back there with her. Following the track run, we walked to Victory Lane, hwere we were photographed.

This truck was on a '47 Truck frame. It had a Cummins diesel engine like what you would find in a Dodge. It was trailered to Bristol from Texas.

There are also these photos from the way up. Pilot Mountain, Mayberry (actually known as Mt Airy, but ti was what they based Mayberry on.

Also, none of these shots in the car were taken by me. My mother was in the back seat taking shots over my shoulder to look like I was photographing.

But on the way back... toruble happened. Tire was barely two years old, but it blew apart on I-81 in Wythesville, VA, about 2 miles from where we stayed the night before. My bumper jack is broken and my bottle jack wouldn't fit under the axle to raise the car up. It damaged the quarter fender trim and I'll have to polish off those black rubber marks on the quarter fender. But... eveyrone was okay, and it's all repairable. There is rubber thrown all over the quarterfender and back end of the car.

Here is pilot mountain...

I missed a few posts in there. The fastest I got to was about 70. I was running 40-50 most of the time in teh turns. The track wasn't as scary to drive as I thought it would be.

Now that I've got this together, I'll put the videos, now uplaoded, on here as well.
