This makes me so sad. Hope these guys get what's coming to them. I heard a week or so back about someone tying a dog to the back of their vehicle and drag it a mile or so. Seriously wtf. How sick and messed up do you have to be? It fills me with anger

Those words are SOOO true.
Heck, I know some dogs have been put down due to a harmful or uncorrectable personality problem. But no matter the dog's problem, I could never imaging doing what I saw the result of those kids. No one and no animal deserves that type of suffering.

And how much you wanna bet, before those kids duct taped that crap to that dog, he probably was coming up to them and just wanting to be petted....

I agree Maniac. Dog's have never asked for anything more than our attention and our hearts. I myself have had dog's my whole life. My first dog was a black lab, she died of old age at 13yrs old, 2nd dog was a german shepherd she got put down at the age of 7 because of hip dysplasia and mom took the death of her pretty rough. I then got my first dog and she was a beagle. I got her when she was born August 27th 2008 which was the day after my birthday. I still have her and I have to say there's been those times I felt like I had nobody around that loved me, until she came walking up next to me smiling and lays in my arms. I can tell she understands every word I say to her. We got 2 other dogs since then one was a catahoula and we had to give her up when we moved, she went to a great family yet some ******* decided to shoot her (R.I.P. Gretchen). So now we have my Beagle and my Mom's new German Shepherd that we are currently trying to breed.. Here are some pics.

[quote=mousehousemoparman;413964]I have seen some studies that suggest that kids that do horrific thing to animals turn into the most outrageous criminals in their adult years.

Remember Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson? They're just two examples of criminals who started out abusing animals. Jeffrey Dahmer is the only one I know of who got his just desserts (beaten to death by fellow prisoners). Manson continues to breathe and eat every day at our expense.

One thing we can do to make amends to the animal world for tragedies like this is become active participants in saving other animals. Work with the ASPCA, the Humane Society, or any local animal shelter or adoption agency. In my case, I do volunteer work for the Missouri Wildlife Rescue Center. We see heartbreaking cases of wild animals suffering abuse at the hands of ignorant people. Our payback is saving and releasing back to the wild as many as 2,000 animals a year.
They're released as far away from humans as we can get them.

"Some People should `not be `Free 2 `be 4-Sure"
It's very sad, but maybe the kids that did it did not have good parents/teachers/mentor's to teach them right from wrong(like U or me)...To me it's not an excuse, but maybe a `REASON ? ?
The offense happened in the violent country of Bosnia & there's so many sad stories and hurt in countries like that.
I hope they are caught & punished for their atrocious acts and that their government gets them some serious help
It's so easy for me to judge, sitting @ my computer & just reading the few details and shameful pictures
Judgement Day comes for `all (?) for their Bad acts in Life (?)

Poor foundations for Bosnia's future generations
Life is hard in rural communities near Olovo, north of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Virtually every family had to flee intense fighting during the war and when they eventually returned, they found their houses and livelihoods destroyed. 90% of men worked in local industries like woodcutting, but in the post-war chaos and corruption, these firms shut down and most parents are now unemployed. There is little to no support from local and national authorities. Sponsored child Zejna (9) was not even born when the war ended in 1996, but experiences its bitter aftermath every day of her life. Photos & captions by Susan Cuthbert.

J.W., super pictures of your dogs, past & present. Thanks for sharing...
