RE: GET THIS...........
If my camera hadn't been in the back of my '57 Chevy Wagon i'd have done my best to snap a picture of the car.
As far as I know, there was no promotional thing going on and the road (I live in the country) was not closed. Other cars & trucks were using it at the same time.
I could just picture some guy in the car behind him trying to have a conversation on the cell phone: "CAN YOU SPEAK UP HONEY? SOME IDIOT IN FRONT OF ME HAS ONE OF THOSE LOUD MUFFLERS."
Now that would have been funny. [sm=smiley2.gif]

RE: GET THIS...........
here is what you probably saw: i found a link once and can't find it again over on the Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo forum... there is a guy in the upstate NY who builds custom "race cars" for people to drive on hte streetthat look just like the real deals he also paints them to look like NASCARS. they look very much like the real deal, and he paints them like most NASCARS, as far as I know he only makes Chevy but he could probably do Ford, Dodge, or Toyota. The cars were about $75,000 a piece I believe with 350 Chevy engines. What you saw was probably someone who bought a Tony Stewart Monte Carlo.
