I have a 1997 Monte Carlo that has been running great for the last 3 weeks.
This morning I tried to start my car, but it would not start. All of the fuses are good and I checked the relays which seem fine. The battery is brand new and it doesn't act like there is a problem with the charging system. There is some rain in the air today, which I'm not sure would affect the car starting but figured I'd mention it. Please help.

 

Does it do anything, any sounds or lights. Such as:
- When you turn the key to on, you should hear the fuel pump engage and hum
- When you try to start it, you should hear the starter crank
- Does the radio work?
- Any interior lights work?
- Any dash lights work?

Check the crankshaft position sensor...when mine died on me it would crank and crank but never start. The sensor went bad.

 

Is the car giving a check engine light? Any codes?
