Default 1997 Chevy MC won't start....HELP!

I have a 1997 Monte Carlo. It currently is not starting. I'll turn the key and the lights will come on but nothing else happens. I'm wondering where the problem might be and what i need to do. I've checked the starter battery alternator solenoid etc. and still nothing. Have u heard of anything like this and what can i do? Hopefully its a DIY thing......

Is the starter making any noise at all?

Have you tested the starter?

If not, pull it and run it over to AutoZone or the like, they will bench test it for free normally.

More importantly, double check the battery and all cables running to and from the starter. Corrosion can be a troubleshooting nightmare.

its most likely the engine control fuse those things can blow for no reason everything will be fine but no power can get to the started check that and all the other fuses to good luck ,that fuse went out on my buddies jeep and had us stumped for a couple days lol.
