I find it pretty frustrating that these hazard switches go bad on the Monte. I had this problem years ago, like in 2002 on my 01 Monte. Now yesterday the got-damned thing is acting up again.

I mean I hit that switch all of once every 2 years.

 

i had the same problem buzzing it was the ignition switch

 

I replaced the original switch with a Dorman replacment. The original switches were just designed badly. I'm hoping the Dorman version is better.

 

Yes I need to take apart my dash the easy way, any video's for that? I'm not a mechanic.

 

I have issue with my turn signals they work till i put in gear then the high beam out light comes on then turn signals flash fast and both sides flash as well checked all light bulbs put a flasher switch in and a turn signal switch in same thing

 

Have same problem. Nobody knows how to fix. I've changed emergency switch two times. If you find answer please share. Someone out there must know something...

 

 

'03 MC SS..bkinkers work fine while day running lights and normal headlights are off..once headlamps are in blinkers in front and rear blink rapidly and dimly. Any idea what could be causing with this??

 

Its a ground issue by the head light drivers side find it and file the paint off and put back should fix your issue

 

hey sorry to bump such a old thread, but my ls has started acting up like this,.would it be ground for the headlamps or ground for the exterior lamp switch?
