Holy crap you are the man!! That seemed to do the trick! This time I made sure to lube the o-ring and thread it on correctly so this doesn’t happen next time lol. I thank all of you for the help!!

Do NOT tighten it beyond 1-full turn after the seal makes contact with the adapter. Lots of techs over-tighten filters to make sure they don't leak.
