Well I asked the Mechanic consultant if I bought a cluster from a somewhere else if it would work and he said no they need to program it with my current mileage. I'm getting it done in a Friday and he must think I'm not going to drive it at all...Good question. I'm going to call him tomorrow I think he's trying to rip me off to be honest now. I'll ask that bonehead and keep y'all updated. I smell a rat and its the stealership.

 

Since the 22" and the bad struts combined shook and shocked the rest of my electronics to Mindlessness, why not the cluster too? Maybe I will find that EBay site mentioned earlier in this thread for a new cluster with my miles on it.


You don't have to get a cluster with your miles on it. They will set it for the miles you tell them when you buy it. You have to sign an odometer statement saying your being truthful about the actual miles your having them put on your new replacement cluster.

 

Well I went in to the dealer today.

The IPC wasn't the problem and it ended up being the BCM.
Good thing was is I got a free IPC out of it because they misdiagnosed the issue. Bad part is it still ran me $425 for a BCM, labor and reprogram and 4 1/2 hrs of my day.

But no more Security Lights, ABS lights or Service Vehicle Soon.
