Default The old antifreeze in the oil dilemma.

1974 Monte, 350 engine. Small amount of antifreeze came out of #3 cylinder upon plug removal, plus small amount came out of crankcase when drain plug was removed. This engine was rebuilt fifteen years ago, with 24000 miles driven since rebuild. My question is: Should I tear it down and fix the problem or should I install a crate engine? What do you think?

Wouldn't this be a simple head gasket failure and not a compromising engine issue like spun bearings or bent rods?
