In my opinion....use all Gm (delco) replacement parts....stay away from bosch etc.....aftermarket parts..they seem to not meet specs..(I had to learn that the hardway)....turned out it was a simple solution to a otherwise head full of headache and confusion......

Im an old school guy and these new electronically control stuff burns me out.....mentally.....heres a long shot possibility...check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail.....I experienced that same code and went threw all the same issues..only to find out it was a fuel pump (performance) stahling etc....Cant hurt to check it out....let us know what u figure out.....sometimes its the simplest things that mess with us the most!

I am a tech.

First of all, take out the Bosch O2 and put a GM one in. Will the car start with the MAF unhooked? If not, you have something else wrong. It should default and run based on ECT and RPM. Is this a 3.4 or 3.8?

Hi everyone
thanks for the replys, the maf is a new ac delco part I bought off rockauto, gm replaced the maf harness so now I cant tell what color is what because its all white. So far what I did since this weekend was replaced the spark plug wires with new ones and the spark plugs and retightend the upper intake manifold bolts, they were all loose, so far so good as for problems, i will diconnect the maf wire and see if the car starts tomorrow,
thanks for the help once again

stay away from side shop parts. My car was stalling a while back to bruh... I thought it was my MAF sensor but it wasn't.. I took it to advance auto and it kept reading Crankshaft sensor but I already had got that part replaced. So I avoided it and started getting other parts such as a tune up, control module, new converter, fuel pump because I car was shutting off while I was driving it after about 15 to 20 mins and then it wud be hard for me to get it to start back up again. So I took it to the chevy place and they told me it was my crankshaft sensor the whole time. I bought it from Oriellys, but the guy told me I needed the offical GM part and every since then the MC been running smooth....so try your crankshaft sensor

thanks for the help everyone,
I think the problem is fixed, I think it may have been the loose upper intake manifold bolds causing the maf to read wrong, I have pulled the maf wire off and the car still runs, before it would just shut off so now the car runs better the ever
