Default 2000 monte carlo still stalls after new maf sensor plz help!!!!

hello
please help me, my car has 200,000 kms has a new alternator, crank sensor with crank relearn, new ac delco maf, new bcm mod, new fuel filter plugs wires all that tune up stuff and a new temp sensor. I am out of ideas I just spent $1600 at gm and they cant figure out the problem. Ok here is the problem when I drive my car in the morning after about 5 min of driving it will stall with a maf performance code showing up on my code reader, it will not start until I clear the maf code. When the car is at idle and I disconnect the maf the car will shut off right away, this is new it has never done that before I dont know what to do I need help I have no more ideas. the wires by the ac are fine, gm replaced the maf plug and it still stalls when I drive it. thanks for reading.

are you driving the 3400 or 3.8? Cause I had stalling problems for the longest time too. but usually if your maf is disconnected your map should be able to keep it running. does your car seem unstable and rev up and down all the time?

I would say we need more info, when does it stall in relation to rpm/throttle, what accessories are on at the time, cold or hot out, have you cleaned the throttle body? how do the wires look from the mafs to the pcm, how about the o2 sensors elsewhere?

Here e-mail my mechanic, he is a regular whiz with these kind of things. Tell him Greg Hubbs said for you to send him your cars symptoms, try and be complete. Matt I would bet will have an answer for you to try pretty quick. He has his Masters in automotive theory, very very smart and very nice man. MATT@PAULSAUTOAND4X4.COM

As asked before is it a 3400 or 3800 powered Monte?
Also, do you have the actual code # it's throwing?

The car is a 3.8 the machanic checked the wires from maf to the ECM and said they are fine, the car stalls when I am at crusing speed with no accessories on at the time, p0101 keeps showing, also I replaced the front o2 sensor with a bosch one about 2 months ago

P0101 OBD-II Trouble Code

Technical Description

Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Range/Performance Problem
What does that mean?

Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. The PCM detects that the actual MAF sensor frequency signal is not within a predetermined range of the calculated MAF value for more than 4.0 seconds. Other MAF sensor circuit DTC trouble codes are P0100, P0102, P0103, and P0104.
