I installed some new HID ballasts a while back and every time I turned the headlights on I could hear a buzzing noise from the front of the car and one of them would not come on. This was even with the HID harness and relay direct to the battery installed. I decided to use different ballast and stated having these issues since then...

1. My lower buttons on my climate controls will not light up if the DRLs are on. The A/C rear defrost and recirculate air ect. buttons only light up when the headlights or parking lights are on.

2. My airbag light keeps going on and off and throwing code B0041. LF (side impact circuit open). The connections are all there and not broken or corroded.

My first thought was BCM? Then I thought maybe its the DRL relay but how could that set the airbag code. Then maybe the SDM or clock spring but that doesn't explain the climate controls. ANY IDEAS!!! I am about to lose it! lol
