My blower motor won't shut off
I live in Manitoba Canada. The other day I was driving home from a friends place and there were a few small snow drifts on the road. Everytime I hit a snow drift the car would fog up from the inside and as I kept driving it would start to clear until the next drift and then repeat. The snow wasn't deep and wasn't going over the car or into the engine compartment. The blower motor was working fine for about five miles. Suddenly it shut off for about two seconds and went back on. When it went back on it was full blast and now that is the way it stays. At least I still have heat lol but I can't shut it off or control it in any way. Now I have to disconnect the battery to save my battery cause that's the only way it will stop operating and for fear of it starting on fire cause something is obviously very wrong. I have a 2004 Monte. Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

Odds are the blower motor resistor has failed. Until you can replace it, you could just plug the resister and or the blower motor (both found under the passenger side dash).
