I just bought a 06 Monte Carlo SS and when I bought it the salesman did not tell me that one of the read speaker cover was broken, but in good faith he said that the dealership will replace it for me at no cost. My question is they are saying that they can not find just the grill for it but instead just the whole read deck is that they only way of fixing the broken grill or this there something else out there that y'all have seen. The second part of the this is I will have to put it on because the deal is some 300 mile away but this will also give me the change to change out the rear speakers with something like Polk Audio DB 6x9 but how do i get the rear deck off. I did this with my 03 Monte Carlo SS but i don't know if it is the same procerger

 

I don't recall if the '06-'07 Montes have the same speaker grill as the 00-05 models. If it is the same grill, then yes, you can order and replace just the grill (I got a pair from a dealer ship a couple years ago, brand new).
