Hub bolts
I am working on my wife's 1996 Monte Carlo. I am replacing the hub bearings and had trouble getting the four mounting bolts out of each bearing. They were stubborn but I got 6 of them out, two broke of in the old hub. Does anyone know the size or part number of the bolts? I want to replace all 8. I am assuming they're metric but there are different metric bolts with different threads. Also, I'm going to a parts store to buy them and a number would help.
Thanks,
Bob

better off orgering them from gm.broke one a month or soo again.i went to 8 auto stores that didnt have them for my 04 monte which is probaly the same bolt.local car dealership had one from a monte laying around and gave it to me for free
I ended up going to my local hardware store to buy them. I went to NAPA, they didn't have them. I then went to the Chevy dealer, the counter guy told me he and them but turned out they didn't but he gave me the specs. I went to the hardware store and got hardened bolts and steal spacer collars to copy the factory oringinals. Dealer price, he said he could order them, was $6.50 apiece. The hardware store was about $3 apiece, the most expensive part was the collar for $2+ apiece.
This car is turning into a money pit. Every time I fix one part it leads to another parts. The latest is the back brakes. I went to bleed the rears, one bleeder valve rounded off, the other broke off. I used a six point socket to try to free them up because I knew they were going to be a rust tight. Now off to the store for two wheel cylinders.

I am looking for the collar. Do you know the specs? I got the bolts at the hardware store too but he didn’t have the collar spacers. This isn’t available by Gm and it’s discontinued. I gotta do my wheel bearing on the drivers side and need these bolts.

If this is on a FWD Monte, I have done many front wheel hub assemblies and I am not sure what spacer you are mentioning. I know there is a bracket to hold the ABS wheel speed sensor connection.
