7th Gen ('06-'07): Help me

Default Help me

I have an 06 Monte Carlo that has been wrecked after getting it fixed and driving again a friend was driving it down the road and it just shut down and stopped while going down the road and since that day it has not started back up and wont do anything at all when you try to start it wont click turn over no lights no nothing and the mechanics dont know what the problem is

I mean... almost sounds like some kind of wiring is busted.

Hard to diagnose from the description that you have

A few places to check for power are the fuseable link wires coming off the starter and power at the fuse blocks. Very possible that a blown fuseable link is the issue. When you say the mechanics can't find anything , was this a repair shop or just the guy down the street ? Seems odd a repair shop couldn't find anything.

it was a mechanics from a repair shop I'm friends with them but when I turn it over it does absolutely nothing no click like battery no dash lights no radio no lights no power at all

Is there power at all the fuse blocks ? Do the headlights , radio , signals work ? I would think if it was a security issue the dash lights would work. I'm not as familiar with the 06-07 system but I a issue at the fuse block on the 2000-05 next to the battery did happen on occasion.
