A few years back I replaced the 305 with a 350 on my 88 SS and it was a nightmare. Every thing I read is about how easy and seamless it is..but I had a heck of a time. Well another 88 Monte and I'm ready to pull another switch, But I no longer have the space or tools to do it, so i'm thinking of taking it to a mechanic to do it.

Just wondering what kinda price range i'm going to be spending. Just a pull and swap, the 350 is already bought and paid for. I've looked all over the web and I've seen some people say around 500, and then some people say 3k...I'd kinda like to narrow that price range down a bit.
