i solved my problem with a very simple fix. took out the ambient light sensor in the dash, put some black electrical tape over it, plugged it back in and stuck it back in the dash. you cant tell theres tape over it and it thinks its always dark. problem solved!

bingo. its exactly what i wanted to accomplish. i tried just unplugging the sensor too but these cars are so sensitive that anything turns on the "service vehicle soon" light lol but the tape did the trick. now come the hid fog lights... has anyone had any problems with them melting the housing or anything?!?
