is there any way to disable the DRL's without having to set the parking brake and listen to the ding... or pull the fuse/relay and have a check engine light or high beam bulb light out on?!?

for your question, you can pull the DRL fuse and replace it with a dummy one

 

bbengineer sells a harness that you can install, but it's about $75+

it might have been im sorry if it was... i was at work and the computer is so slow that i didnt wanna freeze it by looking...

and as far as the eye lids go i did those myself. just taped em off and painted em on the lights...

what do you mean by a dummy fuse...? like a blown one?

 

on my 05, in the fuse box under the hood was a drl fuse. i just pulled it out and they dont come on any more..
i did manually turn all my lights on after to make sure they still worked. and they did.

i dunno if it would be the same for your 03

 

The '05s are different than the '00-'04s

 

yeah i tried that fuse idea and the in the message center on my cluster it said high beam bulb out...

 

oh so i guess there is a diff in 03 and 05.. sorry i couldn't of been much more help friend... i think u may have to purchase that harness

oh yeah and after seeing your eyelids, im contemplating doing something similar on mine now to.. don't worry i don't copy others ideas per beta. but def a good place to get some fresh ones

 

no big deal feel free to do some it doesnt bother me at all lol i like the look of them so i wouldnt have any issue with you doing some too haha theyre pretty simple to do!
