DRL's and HID headlights

DRL's and HID headlights
I purchased the HID kit that was listed on this sight but haven't gotten it yet. My question is how do DRL's work with HID headlights? Do you have to disable the DRL feature? If so, that's not a problem I never really liked DRLs anyways.
