Default Catalytic Converter Gaskets?

I have a 2002 SS and I bought a direct fit downpipe with cat to swap in place of my clogged converter. However, I have never taken the exhaust apart on a Monte yet. I don't know what type of gasket I need for either end. I've seen a couple posts on cats but didnt see anything about the gaskets needed. Any help? I want to have all my stuff together before I climb underneath.

Also, what about replacement hardware?

Thanks guys

When i swapped mine for a ZZP downpipe, I bought it with the gaskets. But here's a link to what I believe you need:
ZZPerformance - 2.5" Downpipe Gasket #ZZ-25DPGKT
and
ZZPerformance - 3800 Stock Manifold Gasket #ZZ-38MANGKT
You can contact ZZP to confirm, I am sure they would help you out. You can also check RockAuto.com, as they may have a slightly better price.

As for the hardware, I've never seen a bolt kit for it. I did mine on my '04 a couple years ago with about 55-60K on it. The hardware was a little rusty, but I re-used it all (looking back, I wish I would have gone to the parts store, matched it up, perhaps with some stainless steel).

That's what my plan is, just pull the hardware and try to match it up. I always prefer spending a couple dollars more for new hardware on things

Thanks for the links bro!

You could also pick the gaskets up at a local parts store and save yourself the time/money/shipping expense of getting them from ZZP.

That makes too much sense lol!! Who goes to the brick-n-mortar stores anymore lol.

In all honesty, I am so adjusted to about 60-70% of my car parts are bought from RockAuto, I neglect to thing the obvious. In the case of these gaskets, the store is probably the cheapest and best bet. And if it's NOT the cheapest, it's probably not a big difference in price.
