Ok so I believe I have a bad driver side window switch, my problem is locating one with the same pin out as OEM. ALL of the replacements have 7 pins but their is a space in the 3 row. (if that makes sense) It appears to be from a 6th Gen. Same switch different pin out. I tried to remove and replace the wires in the plug but that didn't work and searching all the yards with in 50 miles comes up empty as well. According to the dealer OEM switch is no longer available so you have to get a $90 adapter as well as the new switch, from dealer $130..


Passinger window works fine and drivers window will not go up. I have checked all the wires and everything is in very good shape. I guess I need to find an OEM window switch with matching pin out new or used.. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanx..

 

Have your considered checking your area's Junk & salvage yards for a window switch (since there's no OEM one ?)

Have you tried looking on ebay or craigslist?
