6th Gen ('00-'05): 2000 monte sputtering out
I recently posted about my Monte with 209,000 miles sputtering when I started it and then stalling out around 50 mph. I replaced the spark plugs and wires and now it's sputtering so bad that it dies if I don't give it gas. I think it's either the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. I don't know what maintenance has been done prior to me purchasing the car other than the fuel filter. Is there any way I can check the fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump? Thanks in advance.
When it gwts in a spuddering fit or dies on you like that again unplug the mass air flow sensor, if it run and drives fine replace it becuase it's junk
